Back at work today after my interrupted week off - as you know I was due to be off all week but due to circumstances I came in over a few days. Really don't want to do that again, it really feels like I wasn't off at all. As I'm back in the office and haven't posted any new pictures for a few days shame on me) I hope you enjoy another of my archive photo's instead.
In response to dad's blog, either option is okay with us - we're flexible. Hopefully everyone else can confirm shortly though, as we need to start booking kennels for Isis and time off work for us.
After publishing my post last night, Carole and I settled down to watch the new drama on BBC1 "Survivors", which was about 90% of the earths poulation being wiped out by a flu bug. Did anyone else watch it? Pretty gripping stuff, the second part is on Tuesday if you're keen.
My email has just gone into overdrive, so I'm signing off - I'll publish a more descriptive post later tonight.
**Useless fact of the day - Carole is still ill (!), and the following are the facts in how to combat bugs:- Take plenty of rest and drink a lot of liquids, and avoid using alcohol and tobacco is usually the best remedy. Also, you can take medications to relieve the symptoms of influenza (but never give aspirin to children or teenagers who have influenza-like symptoms, particularly fever). The symptomatic treatment of colds has been aimed at relieving the most disturbing symptoms of the illness, and hundreds of different over-the-counter preparations are available**
